I'm Elie, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with my own experience in recovery since 2004. I've been in the mental health field since 2008, starting my career with drug court and DUI clients before opening my private practice in 2023. I work with people who can name their pattern, predict when it's coming, and still watch themselves do it anyway. There's a gap between your narrative (the story you tell yourself) and your data (what your behavior actually proves). My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Therapy can feel intimidating, especially the first time.
